Subena Colligan

Subena Colligan is an author, consultant, and executive coach, known for her expertise in occupational health and safety. As the founder of S. Colligan Coaching and EHS Transformation Consultants, Subena empowers businesses and professionals to foster safe, compliant, and effective work environments.

A Veteran of the United States Air Force, Subena's military service laid the foundation for her leadership skills and commitment to excellence. She is a Past-Chair/Director for the Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC), where she plays a critical role in advancing the standards of environmental health and safety professionals worldwide.

Over her career, Subena has shown a strong dedication to mentorship, coaching, and strategic leadership development which reflects her mission to shape the future of workplace health and safety.


Laynnea Myles

Laynnea Myles is a receiver of the NSC Rising Stars of Safety Award Winner and cohost of the SHE-Unfiltered Podcast. Laynnea is a dynamic, passionate, results-focused, quality driven Certified Safety Professional with over two decades of occupational environmental, health and safety expertise. Her creativity and servant leadership style enables her to take an analytical, yet hands-on approach to giving an organization the tools they need to have an interdependent EHS culture. She will also inspire you to think of EHS as a lifestyle! 

Laynnea is a graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in Industrial Technology: Occupational Safety & Health and Columbia Southern University with an M.S. in Occupational Safety and Health.


mwangi ndonga

Mwangi is enthusiastic about embracing artificial intelligence tools aimed at reducing occupational injuries and illnesses. Mwangi is former Chair of the AIHA Technology Initiatives Strategic Advisory Group (2024) and founding Secretary of the Society for Total Worker Health (2023).

Mwangi is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Safety Professional and Hazardous Material Manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with a master's degree in environmental health. You can hear him in the tech and EHS-focused podcast Probability Matters.


fELIX BOACHIE

BOLD PRESIDENT/CHAIR

Felix Boachie has nearly two decades of experience driving advancement in occupational safety and industrial hygiene. His experience spans across multiple industries including petrochemical, food manufacturing, laboratory research, and the government.

Felix is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Safety Professional and holds a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering with a master's degree in environmental and occupational health. Through his professional career, he has worked with various non-profit organizations (e.g., United Way, Easter Seals) and currently sits on the Baltimore City RUN Board with United Way. He has also led various advisory groups across multiple professional associations (e.g., FEMA, AIHA), with a focus on advancing the occupational environmental, health and safety (OEHS) field.
